The science of nutrition looks at the provision of necessary nutrients to the body to support life, health and growth. Many common health problems can be prevented, managed and improved with a healthy diet and lifestyle. However, eating and our relationships with food are individual, emotive and often far from scientific, therefore an approach tailored to each client achieves better results, more quickly.
Whilst staying with us you can book a Nutritional Evaluation with Martina Plein, our nutritionist who will create a dietary plan for you to use, discuss and take home.

Swedish massage therapy is the modality that comes to mind when most people think about massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.
Deep tissue massage
Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle, 'light touch' form of massage based on pumping, circular and spiral shaped movements, which encourage the lymph fluid to flow more freely around the body.
Reflexology massage is a Holistic treatment based on the principle that there are areas and points on the feet, hands, and ears that map via the nervous system to corresponding parts of the body. When pressure is applied to these areas and points it stimulates the movement of energy along the nerve channels, and helps to restore homeostasis (balance) in the whole body.
Hot stone massage
Hot stone massage therapy melts away tension, eases muscle stiffness and increases circulation and metabolism. Each hot stone massage therapy session promotes deeper muscle relaxation through the placement of smooth, water-heated stones at key points on the body. Our professional massage therapists also incorporate a customized massage, with the use of hot stones, which offers enhanced benefits.
The premise behind hot stone massage therapy is that the direct heat of the stones relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist access to their deeper muscle layers. Combining hot stone protocols with a full body massage provides a very healing and effective experience. The hot stones also expand blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body.

Chakra Balancing is a form of energy healing that focuses on channeling energy into the seven chakras. Each chakra is associated with aspects of our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The practitioner aims to release energetic blockages and promote the good flow of energy, to harness optimum health in any relative condition. The practitioner places their hands just above the surface of the skin or clothing with the client lying down, and systematically works on each chakra before pulling them all into alignment. This action facilitates the synergetic potential between each one; so that when functioning effortlessly, balance of these primary energy centers provides maximum potentiality for health and wellbeing, by enabling the free flow of energy that is vital to life.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Meditation is an approach to training the mind, similar to the way that fitness is an approach to training the body, it’s a practice of concentrated focus upon a sound, object, visualization, the breath, movement, or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth.
